Today I did some experiments. Hear is some of my  answers for my Passing Food  experiment.

1. The gucose test strip was light green from the outside of the honey jar

2. Yes it indicates that there is sugar in the water

3. The gucose test strip was dark green from the inside of the honey jar

4. Yes it indicates that there is sugar in the water

5. Yes I do think that sugar got into the outside of the honey jar

6. No starch in not present in the outside of the jar

7. The starch is black in the jar

8. Yes starch is present inside the jar

Hear is another experiment called  Carbon Dioxide

1. The air pump gave some  and it was more  quickly

2. your breath has more carbon dioxide

And that is my experiments

Today I did an experiment on pulse rate.

My answers:

1. My pulse rate is 50 a minute or at least that is what I estimated

2. For 5 minutes it is 250 or what I estimated

3. When I jog I estimated 61 beats a minute

For science I did an experiment. I put celery  in a jar and put 30 drops of red dye in the jar with 1 cup of water. I left the celery for 24 hours to see how the celery absorbs water.  It was very cool when I looked at the celery. All of the leaves were red where the veins were. This is one of my favorite experiments.

After 24 hours in the jar with red dye, the celery stalk absorbed the redy dye and the leaves turned red.

Hi my name is Shelby and this is a school paper. On the story The Chronicles of Narnia , The lion, the witch and the wardrobe

The first part

The first character that did a heroic act was peter. He killed the bad wolf that was attacking Susan. That bad wolf. And then the wolf was gone.

And the second character is Lucy. She used her magic cordial to save Edmund’s life and all of the injured soldiers. Go Peter and Lucy for doing heroic acts.

The next little part is I am a book reviewer for The New York Times. This book is called “The Chronicles of Narnia The lion the witch and the wardrobe” The author is C. S. Lewis and the setting of the novel is at the end when Lucy used her magic cordial too save her brother and the narnains.

The main characters are Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy there problems are the war the white witchL.  The important event that helped them is the war J J J  my favorite part of the story is when they go to war. Woo ho.  I thing that you should read this book 

The second part

I think that Edmund was kind of rude at the beginning of the story. Some of the events helped him be anti rude person. At the end he was not rude J 

Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy grow to be queens and kings of Narnia J

Edmund changed throughout the story he was rude at the beginning of the story and at the end he was not rude no more. Edmund didn’t believe in Lucy that Narnia existed. And he was like little girls make things up. And in the middle of the story he was getting better but he was still rude. L  And at the end he was anti rude at the war.

Today, I am reading “Eldest”, by Christopher Paolini. This is the 2nd Eragon book in the series. I finished readin g the first book over the summer.

The story is about Eragon who is a Dragon Rider. He is in a war. In the second book, a few days after the war ended,  and Eragon and Saphira his dragon are talking about moving on then Saphira saw Urgais. And Saphira and Eragon fight them.
